Vaccines.app collects and stores vaccination records, which are considered sensitive health data. We treat all health-related information with heightened security measures. Health data is encrypted at rest and in transit, is never shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes, and is only used to provide the core functionality of the application.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. AI conversation history is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with trusted third-party service providers to deliver core functionality, including:

• Cloud database and authentication services.
• AI language model providers for assistant functionality. Queries may be sent to external AI providers for processing.
• Subscription and in-app purchase management services.
• Payment processing services for consultations.
• Error tracking and performance monitoring services.
• Consultation booking and scheduling services (Cal.com).

Each third-party provider is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes of providing their services.

6. Biometric Data

If you enable biometric lock (Face ID or Fingerprint), biometric data is processed entirely on your device by the operating system. We do not collect, store, or transmit biometric data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us or through the application settings. Upon deletion request, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Family tracking features allow parents and guardians to store vaccination records for children under their care. This data is controlled by the parent or guardian account holder and is subject to the same security and privacy protections described in this policy.
